Take A Stand
Over 300 teachers, staff, parents and community members rallied at the Kissimmee Lakefront. The rally was an initial action to protest the severe financial cuts being rendered to public education by the state legislator.

New Officers
OCTA's new president, Kathy Donato is on the job for you! Kathy and the other officer's took office on July 1. The position of president of OCTA is a full time release position. This means that the president works full-time for the membership. Other officers, directors, and building representatives are full-time instructional employees in all our schools and departments across the district. This is the third year that OCTA has had a full-time president.

The other OCTA Officers are:
Vice-President Apryle Jackson of Osceola High School.

Secretary Edna LaCount of Liberty High School.
Treasurer Sandra Leach Rushlow of Thacker Ave. Elementary School.
